How we're different

We focus on adapting swimming lessons to learning preferences

Not everyone learns the same way and lessons need to be adapted to handle that difference. Whether you learn best by hearing, seeing, or being hands on we've got you covered.

Important Instructor Information

To teach swim lessons with us you must have background in swimming and/or water polo, and video proof (or a letter of reference from a swim coach) that you can complete the following…

  1. Participants must be at least 16 years old on the last class date
  2. Participants must be proficient and able to swim 25 yards of the following strokes: front crawl (freestyle), back crawl (backstroke), breaststroke, elementary backstroke, sidestroke and 15 yards butterfly. There is no time limit.
  3. Participants must float on their back for 1 minute in deep water
  4. Participants must tread water for 1 minute

Your responsibilities as a swim instructor include:

        1. Transportation to and from lesson set

        2. Timeliness (arrival and ensuring correct lesson duration)

        3.  Visible student progression

        4. Direct and clear communication with students progress

        5. Implement training from our program

        6. Submit weekly invoices

Our contractors have the ability to create a flexible schedule that works for them. Your day to day will depend on how many lesson sets you request and what days that are on. You will be able to see a calendar view of all upcoming lessons and a description of each student. It is important to regularly check your calendar to ensure you arrive to each of your lessons in a timely manner. After completing your lesson, you will mark it as completed on our instructor portal. At the end of each week, it will be your job to complete an invoice and submit it for approval.

That is no problem! We offer all of our instructors access to our training program. The program assess each swim level which includes tons of tips, tricks and more. A short assessment will be taken after each swim level is discussed to ensure all information is understood. You will also receive a certification after completing the program.
